Faerber's Flyers is the largest and oldest All-Women's Running Club in Hawaii and is based in Honolulu.
The Club is named to honor Johnny Faerber, who is the current Coach of the Women's Cross Country team at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a Marathoning Legend in Hawaii.
We are a non profit tax exempt organization whose prime objectives are to promote and encourage female running as a sport and physical fitness program. To support various running activities such as races on the road and track, race relays, lectures, fun runs, and other educational activities; demonstrations, clinics and social events, newsletters make awards; and all such other things as may be conducive to encourage women's running. To assist in training programs to better the individuals running performance.

Membership
MEMBERSHIP

1. The fiscal year shall be June 1st to May 31st.
2. Faerber's Flyers membership is open to female runners and shall be available without regard to race, color or national origin.
3. Each member of the club shall pay annual dues as determined by the general membership. Dues shall be $50.00 per year. Dues will be reduced to $30.00 for anyone joining Faerber's Flyers after the club sponsored race, or March 15th, whichever falls later. Included in dues are club singlet and race entry fees that have been approved by membership; members are expected to wear club singlet when entry fee has been paid by the club.
The Flyers range in ages from 12 to 82 and the individual members interests and careers are varied. Faerber's Flyers have been Students, Teachers and Professors. Business Professionals, Government Officials, Entrepreneurs, Artists, Authors, Accountants, Attorneys and Athletes. Doctors, Dentists, Nurses and other Health Care Providers. There are Homemakers, Housewifes, Mothers, Grandmothers and even some Great Grandmothers.
Faerber's Flyers have finished Ironman Triathlons, the Western States 100, the Boston, Chicago, New York and Los Angeles Marathons as well as qualified for the U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials.
